What Is a Living Lab?
By definition, Living Labs are places where products or applications under development are tested and innovated, involving potential local user groups. User feedback on usability and functionality contributes to speedy innovation of more local user -oriented products, applications or services.
A Living Lab project with users is mostly qualitative research. In Europe Living Labs are getting a market research standard, while in many other markets the concept is just being introduced.
Why a Solutions Space Living Lab?
In addition to providing user-oriented results, Solutions Space has taken the Living Lab concept to a new level. Our Living Labs produce results that are practical and easy to use. We have also cut the testing time to less than half of conventional testing methods.

The Solutions Space approach cuts the need to travel to a minimum as instead of a specialist having to travel to locations in different markets, the testing concept itself can be transported and repeated reliably through our worldwide partner network and tools. Solutions Space Global Living Labs
Solutions Space has taken Living Labs global. Our unique Living Lab concept is being used around the world by our partners and our own Service Centers. Our concept is location independent and transparent, you can follow a testing session recorded or live via web streaming, with simultaneous translation and real-time annotation.
Solutions Space is pioneering in the Japanese market by being the first user information and testing company to introduce the Living Lab concept in the country. In Japan, product manufacturers and service providers have mostly relied on quantitative research, while qualitative research has been used in a very small scale or not at all. The project is well under way and being carried out in cooperation with the Yokosuka Research Park and several major corporations.
